Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan has reacted to
the claim by Lagos State Governor, Babatunde
Fashola, that his administration has been inactive in
the last three years.
Jonathan dismissed Fashola’s claims as deliberate
misinformation, reports NewsDay.
Speaking through his Senior Special Assistant on
Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe, Jonathan said
Fashola might have been too occupied in Lagos to
see and appreciate the lofty developments his
administration has carried in the country.

Jonathan said it was not true that he has been lying
to Nigerians on the issue of insurgency.
Acknowledging that there were challenges in the
curtailing the activities of the insurgents, he said
his administration is doing its best.
He denied Fashola’s allegation that he and the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were planning to
give the electorate kerosene, rice and money to
win their support in the 2015 elections.
