MUSIC DOWNLOAD: Jay Z Raps On Jeezy’s ‘Seen It All’ — Did He Diss Drake Again?

Drake Jay Z Diss

A day after Jay and his wife (Beyonce, heard of her?) closed out the BET Awards, Jigga jumped on Jeezy’s track for a fierce verse on June 30. Jay’s last few feature verses focused their venom on Drake — so was the younger rapper caught in the crosshairs again? Listen below to find out!

We wonder how Drake feels every time Jay Z releases a new song because time and time again in 2014, Jay’s songs and verses have targeted Drizzy and made quick work of him in hip-hop’s cross-generational feud. Well, whatever that feeling is that Drake has, he must have had it again on June 30 when Jay was featured on Jeezy‘s new song, “Seen It All.”

Jay Z: Did He Diss Drake Again?

At least for one day though, Drake can sleep easy. Jay’s verse on “Seen It All” primarily deals with his experiences of dealing drugs in Brooklyn (and Maryland and Virginia) – long before he became a rapper/mogul
As the song’s title suggests, Jay Z says he’s been there, done that when it comes to hustling, and now he’s content to sit back and count his millions.

There is one lyric that could be directed at Drake — when Jay barks, “I was in the S-Class you was just in class” — though it seems that he’s more so just taking shot at Drake’s younger generation as a whole. All the young guys think they’ve made it, but according to Jay Z, they need to show a little more respect to their elders.

Jay Z & Drake’s Heated Feud

We almost have to applaud Jay Z for showing some restraint and using a verse for something other than taking down Drake! The year 2014 has basically been a smear campaign for Jigga ever since Drake dissed him in a Feb. Rolling Stone interview.
The two rappers have been going back and forth all year, with Jay Z rapping on songs like “They Don’t Love You No More” and “We Made It” and Drake tossing out disses during NBA playoff broadcasts.
But maybe things have finally died down?
