The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge usually head to their favorite vacation spot, the private island of Mustique, when they need a break. However, their plans this year are a little different.William and Kate plan to spend their month-long August vacation with their pride and joy in the U.K., the Royal Watch revealed to Vanity Fair.
“The couple will spend the rest of the time off in Norfolk, where the final refurbishments are being completed at their new country home, Anmer Hall, on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate,” royal family sources shared with the magazine.
Those same sources also confirmed that the couple plans to bring George to the family’s Balmoral Castle in Scotland to visit their loved ones, including Queen Elizabeth II, as previously reported by HollywoodLife.com.
Prince George Recently Celebrated His 1st Birthday
On July 22, George celebrated one of his biggest milestones to date: his 1st birthday!In honor of the tike’s big day, William and Kate hosted a birthday bash at their apartment inside Kensington Palace. The theme? A royal favorite: Peter Rabbit, of course!
Notable guests included Prince Harry, James Middleton and Pippa Middleton. Unfortunately, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and his wife were not in attendance because they had royal duties to attend to.
