United have not won in five games and Van Gaal lost to Norwich in their Saturday’s clash.
The United boss admitted he does not want to suffer the same fate as his friend and former protege, Jose Mourinho, who was sacked by Chelsea.
“We have to win because, when you lose too much, it’s the end of the world for me also,” said Van Gaal.
