Arturo Vidal has warned Arsenal to prepare for “the true Bayern” ahead of their rematch in Munich on Wednesday.
The Gunners put their dismal start to the Champions League behind them on Matchday Three, securing a deserved 2-0 win over Bayern at the Emirates.
Goals from Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil kept alive their slim hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages, ahead of Wednesday night’s trip to the Allianz Arena.
Losses to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos mean the Gunners need another positive result against Pep Guardiola’s German champions.
But according to Chilean midfielder Vidal, there will be no repeat in Bavaria, with him declaring that Arsene Wenger’s men will be going home pointless.
“We’ll show Arsenal on Wednesday the true Bayern” declared Vidal, speaking to Bild.
“Our confidence is high. We will take our chances and get three points.”
