As the wait continues for who and who will be in the Nigeria starting XI for the tie against Tanzania this afternoon, Coach of the Super Eagles Sunday Oliseh has given a clear indication he has no selection headaches as he already knows who he wants in his starting line-up days back.
Coach Oliseh who is also new on the job is also condemned to hand some untested legs places in his starting XI especially in goal where current captain Vincent Enyeama and right back Leon Balogun is out injured.
“I had decided my starting XI by Thursday,” Oliseh quipped when asked if he has any selection headaches ahead of the Tanzania clash which is his first official match in match.
However feelers in camp suggest that Carl Ikeme will be starting in goal while Solomon Kwambe will be playing from right-back, Kingsley Madu, William Troost-Ekong are Kenneth Omeruo all expected to be part of the tightly knitted defence.
The charge for goals upfront is expected to be led by Emmanuel Emenike who is desperate to end his 22-month goal drought for the Eagles.
Super Eagles possible starting Eleven against Tanzania – Carl Ikeme – Kingsley Madu, Solomon Kwambe, William Troost-Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo, – Izunna Uzochukwu, Obiora Nwankwo, Lukman Haruna, Moses Simon, Ahmed Musa (skipper), Emmanuel Emenike
