Between Africans and Indians, I really can’t tell which
is most superstitious or traditional, as we have just
recently learnt that a three-eyed calf is now being
hailed as a spiritual icon across India.
According to Mirror, the baby animal has been hailed
as a blessing by Hindus after being born with a third
eye in the middle of its forehead two weeks ago.
Meghala, the owner of the new found Hindu god
described baby Shiva as a miracle, while many
believe the calf is the reincarnation of three-eyed
Hindu God and namesake Shiva.
The cow has become a major attraction in Tamil
Nadu, southern India, with hundreds flocking to catch
a glimpse of the ‘deity’ and pray to it.
Hindu children have been touching the cute animal
on the head, believing it will bring good fortune, and
in Hinduism, Shiva is regarded is one of the primary
gods and patron of yoga and arts.
Hmm! Outrageous or cool? What’s your thought?
