Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, has
called on Nigerians to vote out President
Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.
The governor said this through his Special Adviser on
Environment, Mr. Bola Ilori, in an interview with our
correspondent in Osogbo on the sideline of a forum
with workers of the Ministry of Environment.
He said that the nation had almost been run aground
by the Peoples Democratic Party which had occupied
the Presidency since May 29, 1999 when the country
returned to civil rule.
Ilori assured workers in the state that the governor
would not sack any of them on the account of voting
against him during the August 9 governorship
election.
He said they all had the liberty to vote for the
candidate of their choice without fear of harassment.
The governor’s aide said, “Nigerians must vote
against the PDP in 2015 presidential election for the
nation to move forward. The nation needs a
President who can steer its ship from the brink of
collapse.
“The All Progressives Congress will present such
leader, in fact there are many of them within the
party and the person who would be presented would
be capable of developing the nation.”
